750 Hour Esthetic Course Outline
Description: The primary purpose of the Esthetic Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative
skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board Examination and for competency in job entry level positions in Esthetics or career related field.
Objectives: Requirements of course completion, the determined graduate will be able to:
Project a positive attitude and a sense of personal integrity and self-confidence.
Practice proper grooming and effective communications skills and visual poise.
Understand employer-employee relationships and respect the need to deliver worthy service for value received.
Perform Facials and Skin Care Procedures and Related Theory: structure and function of the skin, skin conditions and disorders, facial and body State recommend body procedures(client preparation, skin analysis and consultation).Wet and dry exfoliations and applications: Use of products to enhance skin appearance (seaweed, salt, paraffin, mud , ampoules, serums lotions and creams).Introduction training on advanced techniques such as aromatherapy micro current therapies, temporary methods of hair removal (manual tweezing, waxing, bleaching): Make-up application(color analysis, morphology of the face, product knowledge, chemistry and related composition, eyebrow contouring, corrections and contouring, false eyelashes, further training required for advanced techniques.
