CARES ACT 30-DAY REPORT… ​ The CARES Act Higher Education Relief Fund provides funding to institutions for emergency financial aid grants to students whose lives have been disrupted by the COVID-19. The 30-day report for Allgood Beauty Institute, LLC is stated below for November 30, 2020. Allgood Beauty Institute, LLC acknowledges and assures that: 1. A signed Certification and Agreement was returned to the U. S. Department on September 4, 2020. Allgood Beauty Institute, LLC has used no less than 50% of the total of the funds received. 2. The total amount of $14,527 will be provided as Emergency Financial Aid Grants to the students pursuant to the institutions Certification and Agreement. 3. $7,920 in Emergency Financial Aid Grants has been distributed to students under Section 1800 (a)(1) of the CARES Act as of September 4, 2020 submission 4. The estimated total number of students that attend Allgood Beauty Institute, LLC who are eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV the Higher education Act of 1965, and have been deemed eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students is six (6) as of September 4, 2020 under the Section 18004 (a)(1) of the CARES Act. 5. As of November 30, 2020, the total number of students that have received Emergency Financial Aid Grants is six (6) under Section 18004 (a)(1) of the CARES Act. 6. The method(s) used by the institution to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants are stated below: Students who are eligible for CARES Act awards are: Eligible students are defined as:

  • Enrolled in an eligible program at least half time between March 13, 2020 through March 13, 2021

  • A U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen

  • Have completed a FAFSA and are eligible to receive federal Title IV aid

  • Maintaining satisfactory academic progress

  • Meeting the minimum Department of Education guidelines of 67% attendance

  • Not in default or owe an overpayment on a Title IV grant or loan

  • Having documents on file verifying the student’s identity, a statement of educational purpose, selective service registration, birth certificate, and social security number

Any student meeting the eligibility requirements listed above will receive a CARES Act award. The amount the students will receive is: $1,320 The campus will conduct a second disbursement for currently attending students in the Spring of 2021. Students who graduate or withdraw prior to the Spring 2021 disbursement will not receive this second disbursement.
